[12:10]  1 tn The word “River” is not in the Hebrew text, but has been supplied in the translation for clarity.

[12:10]  2 tn Heb “the Lord your God.” See note on “he” in 12:5.

[12:10]  3 tn In the Hebrew text vv. 10-11 are one long, complex sentence. For stylistic reasons the translation divides this into two sentences.

[15:14]  4 tn The Hebrew text uses the infinitive absolute for emphasis, which the translation indicates with “generously.”

[16:6]  5 tn Heb “the Passover.” The translation uses a pronoun to avoid redundancy in English.

[16:6]  6 tc The MT reading אֶל (’el, “unto”) before “the place” should, following Smr, Syriac, Targums, and Vulgate, be omitted in favor of ב (bet; בַּמָּקוֹם, bammaqom), “in the place.”

[16:6]  7 tn Heb “the Lord your God.” See note on “he” in 16:1.

[19:8]  8 tn Heb “fathers.”

[19:8]  9 tn Heb “he said to give to your ancestors.” The pronoun has been used in the translation instead for stylistic reasons.

[28:52]  10 tn Heb “gates,” also in vv. 55, 57.
