[6:1] ²sn Jesus’ hometown (where he spent his childhood years) was Nazareth, about 20 miles (30 km) southwest of Capernaum.

[10:22] ³tn Grk “he”; the referent (the man who asked the question in v. 17) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[10:22] ⁴tn Grk “he had many possessions.” This term (κτῆμα, kthma) is often used for land as a possession.
