Kisah Para Rasul 28:30-31

28:30 Paul ¹  lived ²  there two whole years in his own rented quarters ³  and welcomed ⁴  all who came to him, 28:31 proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ ⁵  with complete boldness ⁶  and without restriction. ⁷

24:23 He ordered the centurion ⁸  to guard Paul, ⁹  but to let him have some freedom, ¹⁰  and not to prevent any of his friends ¹¹  from meeting his needs. ¹²

27:3 The next day we put in ¹³  at Sidon, ¹⁴  and Julius, treating Paul kindly, ¹⁵  allowed him to go to his friends so they could provide him with what he needed. ¹⁶ 

Kejadian 39:21-23

39:21 But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him kindness. ¹⁷  He granted him favor in the sight of the prison warden. ¹⁸  39:22 The warden put all the prisoners under Joseph’s care. He was in charge of whatever they were doing. ¹⁹  39:23 The warden did not concern himself ²⁰  with anything that was in Joseph’s ²¹  care because the Lord was with him and whatever he was doing the Lord was making successful.

[28:31]  ⁵ tn Or “Messiah”; both “Christ” (Greek) and “Messiah” (Hebrew and Aramaic) mean “one who has been anointed.”

[28:31]  ⁷ sn Proclaiming…with complete boldness and without restriction. Once again Paul’s imprisonment is on benevolent terms. The word of God is proclaimed triumphantly and boldly in Rome. Acts ends with this note: Despite all the attempts to stop it, the message goes forth.
