[1:8]  1 tn Heb “did.”

[7:21]  2 tn Heb “and this house which was high/elevated.” The statement makes little sense in this context, which predicts the desolation that judgment will bring. Some treat the clause as concessive, “Even though this temple is lofty [now].” Others, following the lead of several ancient versions, emend the text to, “this temple will become a heap of ruins.”

[13:18]  3 tn Heb “at that time.”

[26:20]  4 tn Heb “turned toward.”

[26:20]  5 tn Heb “he”; the referent (the king) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[27:2]  6 tn Heb “he did what was proper in the eyes of the Lord, according to all which Uzziah his father had done.”

[27:2]  7 tn Heb “except he did not enter the house of the Lord.”

[29:30]  8 tn Heb “with the words.”

[29:30]  9 tn Or “seer.”

[32:8]  10 tn Heb “With him is an arm of flesh.”

[32:8]  11 tn Or “people.”

[32:28]  12 tn Heb “and stalls for all beasts and beasts, and flocks for the stalls.” The repetition of בְהֵמָה (bÿhemah, “beast”) here indicates various kinds of livestock.

[34:2]  13 tn Heb “he did what was proper in the eyes of the Lord.”

[34:2]  14 tn Heb “and walked in the ways of David his father.”

[36:14]  15 tn Heb “like the abominable practices of the nations.”
