1:6 Solomon went up to the bronze altar before the Lord which was at the meeting tent, and he offered up a thousand burnt sacrifices.

2 Tawarikh 3:12

3:12 Likewise one of the second cherub’s wings was seven and one-half feet long and touched the other wall of the temple; its other wing was also seven and one-half feet long and touched one of the first cherub’s wings. ¹

8:8 Their descendants remained in the land (the Israelites were unable to wipe them out). Solomon conscripted them for his work crews and they continue in that role to this very day. ⁶

17:9 They taught throughout Judah, taking with them the scroll of the law of the Lord. They traveled to all the cities of Judah and taught the people.

24:18 They abandoned the temple of the Lord God of their ancestors, ¹⁰  and worshiped ¹¹  the Asherah poles and idols. Because of this sinful activity, God was angry with Judah and Jerusalem.

2 Tawarikh 30:19

30:19 everyone who has determined to follow God, ¹²  the Lord God of his ancestors, even if he is not ceremonially clean according to the standards of the temple.” ¹³

Amon’s Reign

33:21 Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned for two years in Jerusalem. ¹⁴
