Elisha Heals a Syrian General

5:1 Now Naaman, the commander of the king of Syria’s army, was esteemed and respected by his master, ¹  for through him the Lord had given Syria military victories. But this great warrior had a skin disease. ²

20:17 ‘Look, a time is ³  coming when everything in your palace and the things your ancestors have accumulated to this day will be carried away to Babylon; nothing will be left,’ says the Lord.

23:4 The king ordered Hilkiah the high priest, the high-ranking priests, ⁴  and the guards ⁵  to bring out of the Lord’s temple all the items that were used in the worship of ⁶  Baal, Asherah, and all the stars of the sky. ⁷  The king ⁸  burned them outside of Jerusalem in the terraces ⁹  of Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel. ¹⁰
