14:3 He did what the Lord approved, ¹  but not like David his father. He followed the example of his father Joash. ²

14:2 He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. ³  His mother ⁴  was Jehoaddan, who was from Jerusalem.

24:2 The Lord sent against him Babylonian, Syrian, Moabite, and Ammonite raiding bands; he sent them to destroy Judah, as he had warned he would do through his servants the prophets. ⁵

24:17 The king of Babylon made Mattaniah, Jehoiachin’s ⁶  uncle, king in Jehoiachin’s place. He renamed him Zedekiah.

25:2 The city remained under siege until King Zedekiah’s eleventh year.

1:4 Therefore this is what the Lord says, “You will not leave the bed you lie on, for you will certainly die!”’” So Elijah went on his way.
