The Lord Gives Solomon Wisdom

3:1 Solomon made an alliance by marriage with Pharaoh, king of Egypt; he married Pharaoh’s daughter. He brought her to the City of David ¹  until he could finish building his residence and the temple of the Lord and the wall around Jerusalem. ²

9:24 Solomon built the terrace as soon as Pharaoh’s daughter moved up from the city of David ³  to the palace Solomon built for her. ⁴

9:2 the Lord appeared to Solomon a second time, in the same way he had appeared to him at Gibeon. ⁵
