Yesaya 48:11

48:11 For my sake alone ¹  I will act,

for how can I allow my name to be defiled? ² 

I will not share my glory with anyone else! ³ 

Yesaya 66:5

66:5 Hear the word of the Lord,

you who respect what he has to say! ⁴ 

Your countrymen, ⁵  who hate you

and exclude you, supposedly for the sake of my name,

say, “May the Lord be glorified,

then we will witness your joy.” ⁶ 

But they will be put to shame.
