Priests 1 must not have a bald spot shaved on their head, they must not shave the corner of their beard, and they must not cut slashes in their body. 2
For forty years you sustained them. Even in the desert they never lacked anything. Their clothes did not wear out and their feet did not swell.

He preys on 1 the barren and childless woman, 2 and does not treat the widow well.
Proud beasts 1 have not set foot on it, and no lion has passed along it.
