<p class="bodytext">And Isaiah cries out on behalf of Israel, &#8220;<i>Though the number of the childreni><n id="1" /> <i>of Israel are as the sand of the seai>, <i>only the remnant will be savedi>,

But the righteousness that is by faith says: &#8220;<b><i>Do not say in your hearti>b>,<n id="1" /> &#8216;<i>Who will ascend into heaven?i>&#8217;&#8221;<n id="2" /> (that is, to bring Christ down)

&#8220;Lord, <i><b>they have killed your prophetsb>, <b>they have demolished your altars; I alone am left and they are seeking my life!b>i>&#8221;<n id="1" />

<p class="bodytext">I ask then, they did not stumble into an irrevocable fall,<n id="1" /> did they? Absolutely not! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make Israel<n id="2" /> jealous.

Do not avenge yourselves, dear friends, but give place to God&#8217;s wrath,<n id="1" /> for it is written, &#8220;<i><b>Vengeance is mineb>, <b>I will repayb>i>,&#8221;<n id="2" /> says the Lord.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except by God&#8217;s appointment,<n id="1" /> and the authorities that exist have been instituted by God.

So the person who resists such authority<n id="1" /> resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment

The one who eats everything must not despise the one who does not, and the one who abstains must not judge the one who eats everything, for God has accepted him.

<p class="bodytext">One person regards one day holier than other days, and another regards them all alike.<n id="1" /> Each must be fully convinced in his own mind.

But the man who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not do so from faith, and whatever is not from faith is sin.<n id="1" />p>

And again Isaiah says, &#8220;<i><b>The root of Jesse will comeb>, <b>and the one who rises to rule over the Gentilesb>, <b>in him will the Gentiles hopeb>i>.&#8221;<n id="1" />

They<n id="1" /> exchanged the truth of God for a lie<n id="2" /> and worshiped and served the creation<n id="3" /> rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.p>

He<n id="1" /> <b><i>will rewardi>b><n id="2" /> <b><i>each one according to his worksi>b>:<n id="3" />

For there is no partiality with God.

<p class="otpoetry">&#8220;<b><i>Their mouths arei>b><n id="1" /> <i><b>full of cursing and bitternessb>.i>&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

<p class="bodytext">Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under<n id="1" /> the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world may be held accountable to God.

So then,<n id="1" /> if she is joined to another man while her husband is alive, she will be called an adulteress. But if her<n id="2" /> husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she is joined to another man, she is not an adulteress.

<p class="bodytext">Did that which is good, then, become death to me? Absolutely not! But sin, so that it would be shown to be sin, produced death in me through what is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.

God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew! Do you not know what the scripture says about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel?
