<p class="poetry">Certainly<n id="1" /> spending just one day in your temple courts is betterp> <p class="poetry">than spending a thousand elsewhere.<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">I would rather stand at the entrance<n id="3" /> to the temple of my Godp> <p class="poetry">than live<n id="4" /> in the tents of the wicked.p>

<p class="poetry">For the <sc>Lordsc> God is our sovereign protector.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">The <sc>Lordsc> bestows favor<n id="2" /> and honor;p> <p class="poetry">he withholds no good thing from those who have integrity.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">I will listen to what God the <sc>Lordsc> says.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">For he will make<n id="2" /> peace with his people, his faithful followers.<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">Yet they must not<n id="4" /> return to their foolish ways.p>

<p class="poetry">The days of our lives add up to seventy years,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">or eighty, if one is especially strong.<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">But even one&#8217;s best years are marred by trouble and oppression.<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">Yes,<n id="4" /> they pass quickly<n id="5" /> and we fly away.<n id="6" />p>
