<t /><p class="bodytext">Then Jesus<n id="1" /> said to them again,<n id="2" /> &#8220;I am going away, and you will look for me<n id="3" /> but will die in your sin.<n id="4" /> Where I am going you cannot come.&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">Now when Mary came to the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said to him, &#8220;Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.&#8221;

If anyone wants to serve me, he must follow<n id="1" /> me, and where I am, my servant will be too.<n id="2" /> If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.p>

Children, I am still with you for a little while. You will look for me,<n id="1" /> and just as I said to the Jewish religious leaders,<n id="2" /> &#8216;Where I am going you cannot come,&#8217;<n id="3" /> now I tell you the same.<n id="4" />p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am,<n id="1" /> so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the world<n id="2" />.

<t /><p class="bodytext">When he had said these things,<n id="1" /> Jesus went out with his disciples across the Kidron Valley.<n id="2" /> There was an orchard<n id="3" /> there, and he and his disciples went into it.

Jesus replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;I have spoken publicly to the world. I always taught in the synagogues<n id="2" /> and in the temple courts,<n id="3" /> where all the Jewish people<n id="4" /> assemble together. I<n id="5" /> have said nothing in secret.

Thus many of the Jewish residents of Jerusalem<n id="1" /> read this notice,<n id="2" /> because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the notice was written in Aramaic,<n id="3" /> Latin, and Greek.

<t /><p class="bodytext">On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the disciples had gathered together<n id="1" /> and locked the doors<n id="2" /> of the place<n id="3" /> because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders.<n id="4" /> Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, &#8220;Peace be with you.&#8221;
