Now food will not bring us close to God. We are no worse if we do not eat and no better if we do.

So do not be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, &#8220;<b><i>The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to playi>b>.&#8221;<n id="1" />

If anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, so that when you assemble it does not lead to judgment. I will give directions about other matters when I come.p>

but in the church I want to speak five words with my mind to instruct others, rather than ten thousand words in a tongue.p>

If they want to find out about something, they should ask their husbands at home, because it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in church.<n id="1" />

All flesh is not the same: People have one flesh, animals have another, birds and fish another.<n id="1" />

For I do not want to see you now in passing, since I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord allows.

So then, let no one treat him with contempt. But send him on his way in peace so that he may come to me. For I am expecting him with the brothers.<n id="1" />p>

But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who calls himself a Christian<n id="1" /> who is sexually immoral, or greedy, or an idolater, or verbally abusive,<n id="2" /> or a drunkard, or a swindler. Do not even eat with such a person.

<p class="bodytext">If anyone thinks he is acting inappropriately toward his virgin,<n id="1" /> if she is past the bloom of youth<n id="2" /> and it seems necessary, he should do what he wishes; he does not sin. Let them marry.

But I have not used any of these rights. And I am not writing these things so that something will be done for me.<n id="1" /> In fact, it would be better for me to die than &#8211; no one will deprive me of my reason for boasting!<n id="2" />
