But Jesus, paying no attention to what was said, told the synagogue ruler, &#8220;Do not be afraid; just believe.&#8221;

They came to the house of the synagogue ruler where<n id="1" /> he saw noisy confusion and people weeping and wailing loudly.<n id="2" />

But the president of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd, &#8220;There are six days on which work<n id="1" /> should be done!<n id="2" /> So come<n id="3" /> and be healed on those days, and not on the Sabbath day.&#8221;
