The meat which touches anything ceremonially ¹  unclean must not be eaten; it must be burned up in the fire. As for ceremonially clean meat, ²  everyone who is ceremonially clean may eat the meat.

“‘Whoever touches ¹  the corpse ²  of any person ³  will be ceremonially unclean ⁴  seven days.

When your children ask you, ‘What does this ceremony mean to you?’ ¹  –

Now there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washing, ¹  each holding twenty or thirty gallons. ² 

On the ceremonially pure lampstand ¹  he must arrange the lamps before the Lord continually.

Now a dispute came about between some of John’s disciples and a certain Jew ¹  concerning ceremonial washing. ²

Then he must take off his clothes and put on other clothes, and he must bring the fatty ashes outside the camp to a ceremonially ¹  clean place,

However, Saul said nothing about it ¹  that day, for he thought, ²  “Something has happened to make him ceremonially unclean. Yes, he must be unclean.”

When you enter the land that the Lord will give to you, just as he said, you must observe ¹  this ceremony.

“‘Then a man who is ceremonially clean must gather up the ashes of the red heifer and put them in a ceremonially clean place outside the camp. They must be kept ¹  for the community of the Israelites for use in the water of purification ²  – it is a purification for sin. ³ 

He posted guards at the gates of the Lord’s temple, so no one who was ceremonially unclean in any way could enter.

everyone who has determined to follow God, ¹  the Lord God of his ancestors, even if he is not ceremonially clean according to the standards of the temple.” ² 

Moreover, they will teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and show them how to distinguish between the ceremonially unclean and the clean. ¹ 

The one who burns it ¹  must wash his clothes in water and bathe himself in water. He will be ceremonially unclean until evening.

You must wash your clothes on the seventh day, and you will be ceremonially clean, and afterward you may enter the camp.’”

If the man with a discharge spits on a person who is ceremonially clean, ¹  that person must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

Then the priest must wash ¹  his clothes and bathe himself ²  in water, and afterward he may come ³  into the camp, but the priest will be ceremonially unclean until evening.
