Yosua 8:22

8:22 At the same time the men who had taken the city came out to fight, and the men of Ai were trapped in the middle. ¹  The Israelites struck them down, leaving no survivors or refugees.

Yosua 10:40

10:40 Joshua defeated the whole land, including the hill country, the Negev, the lowlands, ²  the slopes, and all their kings. He left no survivors. He annihilated everything that breathed, just as the Lord God of Israel had commanded.

Yosua 21:44

21:44 The Lord made them secure, ³  in fulfillment of all he had solemnly promised their ancestors. ⁴  None of their enemies could resist them. ⁵
