[2:4]  1 tn Heb “The woman took the two men and hid him.” The third masculine singular pronominal suffix on “hid” has to be a scribal error (see GKC §135.p).

[2:4]  2 tn Heb “the men came to me.” See the note on this phrase in v. 3.

[8:22]  3 tn Heb “and these went out from the city to meet them and they were for Israel in the middle, some on this side, and others on the other side.”

[13:6]  4 tn The meaning of the Hebrew name “Misrephoth Maim” is perhaps “lime-kilns by the water” (see HALOT 2:641).

[13:6]  5 tn Heb “only you, assign it by lots to Israel as an inheritance as I commanded you.”

[19:34]  6 tc The MT reads “Judah, the Jordan”; the LXX omits “Judah.” Perhaps there was a town named Judah, distinct from the tribe of Judah, located near the northern end of the Jordan.
