1:14 Your wives, children and cattle may stay in the land that Moses assigned to you east of the Jordan River. But all you warriors must cross over armed for battle ahead of your brothers. ¹  You must help them

Joshua Sends Spies into the Land

2:1 Joshua son of Nun sent two spies out from Shittim secretly and instructed them: ²  “Find out what you can about the land, especially Jericho.” ³  They stopped at the house of a prostitute named Rahab and spent the night there. ⁴ 

Yosua 4:7

4:7 tell them how the water of the Jordan stopped flowing ⁵  before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the water of the Jordan stopped flowing. ⁶  These stones will be a lasting memorial for the Israelites.”

Yosua 6:6

6:6 So Joshua son of Nun summoned the priests and instructed them, “Pick up the ark of the covenant, and seven priests must carry seven rams’ horns in front of the ark of the Lord.”

Yosua 8:14

8:14 When the king of Ai saw Israel, he and his whole army quickly got up the next day and went out to fight Israel at the meeting place near the Arabah. ⁷  But he did not realize ⁸  men were hiding behind the city. ⁹ 

Yosua 8:29

8:29 He hung the king of Ai on a tree, leaving him exposed until evening. ¹⁰  At sunset Joshua ordered that his corpse be taken down from the tree. ¹¹  They threw it down at the entrance of the city gate and erected over it a large pile of stones (it remains to this very day). ¹² 

Yosua 9:6

9:6 They came to Joshua at the camp in Gilgal and said to him and the men of Israel, “We have come from a distant land. Make a treaty with us.”

Yosua 11:8

11:8 The Lord handed them over to Israel and they struck them down and chased them all the way to Greater Sidon, ¹³  Misrephoth Maim, ¹⁴  and the Mizpah Valley to the east. They struck them down until no survivors remained.

15:18 One time Acsah ¹⁵  came and charmed her father ¹⁶  so that she could ask him for some land. When she got down from her donkey, Caleb said to her, “What would you like?”

Yosua 20:4

20:4 The one who committed manslaughter ¹⁷  should escape to one of these cities, stand at the entrance of the city gate, and present his case to the leaders of that city. ¹⁸  They should then bring him into the city, give him a place to stay, and let him live there. ¹⁹

The LXX has “he [Othniel] urged her to ask her father for a field.” This appears to be an attempt to reconcile the apparent inconsistency and probably does not reflect the original text.
