Yohanes 5:29

5:29 and will come out – the ones who have done what is good to the resurrection resulting in life, and the ones who have done what is evil to the resurrection resulting in condemnation. ¹ 

Yohanes 8:7

8:7 When they persisted in asking him, he stood up straight ²  and replied, ³  “Whoever among you is guiltless ⁴  may be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Yohanes 9:34

9:34 They replied, ⁵  “You were born completely in sinfulness, ⁶  and yet you presume to teach us?” ⁷  So they threw him out.

[8:7]  ³ tn Grk “and said to them.”

[8:7]  ⁴ tn Or “sinless.”

[9:34]  ⁵ tn Grk “They answered and said to him.” This has been simplified in the translation to “They replied.”

[9:34]  ⁶ tn Or “From birth you have been evil.” The implication of this insult, in the context of John 9, is that the man whom Jesus caused to see had not previously adhered rigorously to all the conventional requirements of the OT law as interpreted by the Pharisees. Thus he had no right to instruct them about who Jesus was.
