Yesaya 21:6

21:6 For this is what the sovereign master ¹  has told me:

“Go, post a guard!

He must report what he sees.

[37:1]  ² tn The verb that introduces this verse serves as a discourse particle and is untranslated; see note on “in the future” in 2:2.

[36:22]  ³ tn Heb “with their clothes torn”; the words “in grief” have been supplied in the translation to indicate that this was done as a sign of grief and mourning.
