[20:2]  1 tn Heb “spoke by the hand of.”

[20:2]  2 tn The word used here (עָרוֹם, ’arom) sometimes means “naked,” but here it appears to mean simply “lightly dressed,” i.e., stripped to one’s undergarments. See HALOT 883 s.v. עָרוֹם. The term also occurs in vv. 3, 4.

[46:7]  3 tn Or perhaps, “cannot,” here and in the following two lines. The imperfect forms can indicate capability.

[47:13]  4 tn Heb “you are tired because of the abundance of your advice.”

[47:13]  5 tn Heb “let them stand and rescue you – the ones who see omens in the sky, who gaze at the stars, who make known by months – from those things which are coming upon you.”
