Yehezkiel 3:23

3:23 So I got up and went out to the valley, and the glory of the Lord was standing there, just like the glory I had seen by the Kebar River, ¹  and I threw myself face down.

Yehezkiel 14:8

14:8 I will set my face against that person and will make him an object lesson and a byword ²  and will cut him off from among my people. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

The Valley of Dry Bones

37:1 The hand ³  of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and placed ⁴  me in the midst of the valley, and it was full of bones.

[37:1]  sn Hand in the OT can refer metaphorically to power, authority, or influence. In Ezekiel God’s hand being on the prophet is regularly associated with communication or a vision from God (3:14, 22; 8:1; 37:1; 40:1).
