Ulangan 31:7

31:7 Then Moses called out to Joshua ¹  in the presence of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you will accompany these people to the land that the Lord promised to give their ancestors, ²  and you will enable them to inherit it.

Yesaya 14:1

14:1 The Lord will certainly have compassion on Jacob; ³  he will again choose Israel as his special people ⁴  and restore ⁵  them to their land. Resident foreigners will join them and unite with the family ⁶  of Jacob.

Yehezkiel 11:17

[14:1]  ³ tn The sentence begins with כִּי (ki), which is understood as asseverative (“certainly”) in the translation. Another option is to translate, “For the Lord will have compassion.” In this case one of the reasons for Babylon’s coming demise (13:22b) is the Lord’s desire to restore his people.
