10:2 I will write on the tablets the same words ¹  that were on the first tablets you broke, and you must put them into the ark.”

Mazmur 25:10

25:10 The Lord always proves faithful and reliable ² 

to those who follow the demands of his covenant. ³ 

[10:2]  ¹ sn The same words. The care with which the replacement copy must be made underscores the importance of verbal precision in relaying the Lord’s commandments.

[25:10]  ² tn Heb “all the paths of the Lord are faithful and trustworthy.” The Lord’s “paths” refer here to his characteristic actions.
