Ulangan 10:18

10:18 who justly treats ¹  the orphan and widow, and who loves resident foreigners, giving them food and clothing.

Ulangan 18:2

18:2 They ²  will have no inheritance in the midst of their fellow Israelites; ³  the Lord alone is their inheritance, just as he had told them.

[10:18]  ¹ tn Or “who executes justice for” (so NAB, NRSV); NLT “gives justice to.”

[18:2]  ² tn Heb “he” (and throughout the verse).

[18:2]  ³ tn Heb “brothers,” but not referring to actual siblings. Cf. NASB “their countrymen”; NRSV “the other members of the community.”
