1:46 Therefore, you remained at Kadesh for a long time – indeed, for the full time. ¹ 

Ulangan 30:20

30:20 I also call on you ²  to love the Lord your God, to obey him and be loyal to him, for he gives you life and enables you to live continually ³  in the land the Lord promised to give to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

Ulangan 31:12

31:12 Gather the people – men, women, and children, as well as the resident foreigners in your villages – so they may hear and thus learn about and fear the Lord your God and carefully obey all the words of this law.

[1:46]  ¹ tn Heb “like the days which you lived.” This refers to the rest of the forty-year period in the desert before Israel arrived in Moab.

[30:20]  ² tn The words “I also call on you” are supplied in the translation for stylistic reasons. In the Hebrew text vv. 19-20 are one long sentence, which the translation divides into two.
