12:17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil; consider what is good before all people. ¹

[14:18]  ² tn Grk “by men”; but ἄνθρωπος (anqrwpo") is generic here (“people”) since the contrast in context is between God and humanity.

[2:14]  ³ tn Grk “who” (as a continuation of the previous clause).

[2:14]  ⁴ tn Or “a people who are his very own.”
