Nehemia 9:29
Konteks9:29 And you solemnly admonished them in order to return them to your law, but they behaved presumptuously and did not obey your commandments. They sinned against your ordinances – those by which an individual, if he obeys them, 1 will live. They boldly turned from you; 2 they rebelled 3 and did not obey.
Ayub 34:27
Konteks34:27 because they have turned away from following him,

Mazmur 14:3
Konteksthey are all morally corrupt. 6
None of them does what is right, 7
not even one!
[9:29] 1 tn Heb “if a man keep.” See note on the word “obey” in Neh 1:5.
[9:29] 2 tn Heb “they gave a stubborn shoulder.”
[9:29] 3 tn Heb “they stiffened their neck.”
[34:27] 4 tn The verb הִשְׂכִּילוּ (hiskilu) means “to be prudent; to be wise.” From this is derived the idea of “be wise in understanding God’s will,” and “be successful because of prudence” – i.e., successful with God.
[14:3] 5 tn Heb “everyone turns aside.”
