Mazmur 22:10

22:10 I have been dependent on you since birth; ¹ 

from the time I came out of my mother’s womb you have been my God. ²

[22:10]  ² tn Heb “from the womb of my mother you [have been] my God.”

[22:10]  sn Despite the enemies’ taunts, the psalmist is certain of his relationship with God, which began from the time of his birth (from the time I came out of my mother’s womb).

[38:4]  ³ tn Heb “pass over my head.”

[56:11]  ⁴ tn The statement is similar to that of v. 4, except “flesh” is used there instead of “man.”

[56:11]  ⁵ tn The rhetorical question assumes the answer, “Nothing!” The imperfect is used in a modal sense here, indicating capability or potential.
