20:20 Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, and kneeling down she asked him for a favor. ¹ 

Matius 18:29

18:29 Then his fellow slave threw himself down and begged him, ²  ‘Be patient with me, and I will repay you.’

[20:20]  ¹ tn Grk “asked something from him.”

[18:29]  ² tn Grk “begged him, saying.” The participle λέγων (legwn) is redundant here in contemporary English and has not been translated.
