17:18 Then ¹  Jesus rebuked ²  the demon and it came out of him, and the boy was healed from that moment.

Matius 21:7

21:7 They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks ³  on them, and he sat on them.

[17:18]  ¹ tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “Then.”

[17:18]  ² tn Or “commanded” (often with the implication of a threat, L&N 33.331).

[21:7]  ³ tn Grk “garments”; but this refers in context to their outer cloaks. The action is like 2 Kgs 9:13.
