Walking on Water

14:22 Immediately Jesus ¹  made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side, while he dispersed the crowds.

Matius 15:23

15:23 But he did not answer her a word. Then ²  his disciples came and begged him, ³  “Send her away, because she keeps on crying out after us.”

[14:22]  ¹ tn Grk “he”; the referent (Jesus) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[15:23]  ² tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “Then.”

[15:23]  ³ tn Grk “asked him, saying.” The participle λέγοντες (legontes) is redundant here in contemporary English and has not been translated.
