Matius 11:1

11:1 When ¹  Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in their towns.

Matius 28:8

28:8 So ²  they left the tomb quickly, with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

[11:1]  ¹ tn Grk “And it happened when.” The introductory phrase καὶ ἐγένετο (kai egeneto, “it happened that”) is redundant in contemporary English and has not been translated.

[28:8]  ² tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “so” to indicate the implied result of the angel’s instructions to tell the disciples.
