[10:39]  ² tn This reflexive makes it clear that Mary took the initiative in sitting by Jesus.

[10:39]  ³ sn The description of Mary sitting at the Lord’s feet and listening to him makes her sound like a disciple (compare Luke 8:35).

[4:10]  ⁴ sn A quotation from Ps 91:11 by the devil. This was not so much an incorrect citation as a use in a wrong context (a misapplication of the passage).
