[35:35]  1 tn The expression “wisdom of heart,” or “wisdom in heart,” means artistic skill. The decisions and plans they make are skilled. The expression forms a second accusative after the verb of filling.

[35:35]  2 tn The expression “all the work” means “all kinds of work.”

[35:35]  3 tn Here “They are” has been supplied.

[35:35]  4 tn Heb “doers of all work.”

[35:35]  5 tn Heb “designers of designs.”

[35:1]  6 tn Heb “to do them”; this is somewhat redundant in English and has been simplified in the translation.

[13:2]  7 map For location see Map4 G4; Map5 C1; Map6 E3; Map7 D1; Map8 G3.

[13:2]  8 tn Heb “at Gibeah of Benjamin.” The words “in the territory” are supplied in the translation for clarity.

[13:2]  9 tn Heb “each one to his tents.”

[1:14]  10 tn In the Hebrew text the sentence is introduced by the particle הִנֵּה (hinneh, “look”), which here draws attention to Nathan’s concluding word of assurance and support. For this use of the word, see HALOT 252 s.v. הִנֵּה.

[1:14]  11 tc The Hebrew text reads, “I will come after you.”

[1:14]  12 tn Heb “fill up [i.e., confirm] your words.”
