Kejadian 18:32

18:32 Finally Abraham ¹  said, “May the Lord not be angry so that I may speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” He replied, “I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.”

Yeremia 2:29

[18:32]  ¹ tn Heb “he”; the referent (Abraham) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[2:29]  ² sn This is still part of the Lord’s case against Israel. See 2:9 for the use of the same Hebrew verb. The Lord here denies their counter claims that they do not deserve to be punished.
