Hakim-hakim 19:6-7

19:6 So the two of them sat down and had a meal together. ¹  Then the girl’s father said to the man, “Why not stay another night and have a good time!” ²  19:7 When the man got ready to leave, ³  his father-in-law convinced him to stay another night. ⁴

16:25 When they really started celebrating, ⁵  they said, “Call for Samson so he can entertain us!” So they summoned Samson from the prison and he entertained them. ⁶  They made him stand between two pillars.

[19:7]  ³ tn Heb “and the man arose to go.”

[19:7]  ⁴ tn Heb “his father-in-law persuaded him and he again spent the night there.”
