Hakim-hakim 18:2

18:2 The Danites sent out from their whole tribe five representatives, ¹  capable men ²  from Zorah and Eshtaol, to spy out the land and explore it. They said to them, “Go, explore the land.” They came to the Ephraimite hill country and spent the night at Micah’s house. ³

Joshua Sends Spies into the Land

2:1 Joshua son of Nun sent two spies out from Shittim secretly and instructed them: ⁴  “Find out what you can about the land, especially Jericho.” ⁵  They stopped at the house of a prostitute named Rahab and spent the night there. ⁶ 

Yosua 7:2

7:2 Joshua sent men from Jericho ⁷  to Ai (which is located near Beth Aven, east of Bethel ⁸ ) and instructed them, “Go up and spy on the land.” So the men went up and spied on Ai.
