Imamat 13:4
Konteks13:4 “If 1 it is a white bright spot on the skin of his body, but it does not appear to be deeper than the skin, 2 and the hair has not turned white, then the priest is to quarantine the person with the infection for seven days. 3
Imamat 13:38-39
Konteks13:38 “When a man or a woman has bright spots – white bright spots – on the skin of their body, 13:39 the priest is to examine them, 4 and if 5 the bright spots on the skin of their body are faded white, it is a harmless rash that has broken out on the skin. The person is clean. 6

[13:4] 2 tn Heb “and deep is not its appearance from the skin”; cf. NAB “does not seem to have penetrated below the skin.”
[13:4] 3 tn Heb “and the priest will shut up the infection seven days.”
[13:39] 4 tn Heb “and the priest shall see.”
[13:39] 5 tn Heb “and behold” (so KJV, ASV).
[13:39] 6 tn Heb “he,” but the regulation applies to a man or a woman (v. 38a). In the translation “the person” is used to specify the referent more clearly.
