13:2 Do not neglect hospitality, because through it some have entertained angels without knowing it. ¹ 

Ibrani 11:13

11:13 These all died in faith without receiving the things promised, ²  but they saw them in the distance and welcomed them and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners ³  on the earth.

[13:2]  ¹ sn This is a vague allusion to people described in scripture and extra-biblical literature and may include Abraham and Sarah (Gen 18:2-15), Lot (Gen 19:1-14), Gideon (Judg 6:11-18), Manoah (Judg 13:3-22), and possibly Tobit (Tob 12:1-20).

[11:13]  ² tn Grk “the promises,” referring to the things God promised, not to the pledges themselves.
