TB NETBible YUN-IBR Ref. Silang Nama Gambar Himne

Hakim-hakim 6:37

Konteks
6:37 Look, I am putting a wool fleece on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece, and the ground around it 1  is dry, then I will be sure 2  that you will use me to deliver Israel, 3  as you promised.”

Hakim-hakim 17:2

Konteks
17:2 He said to his mother, “You know 4  the eleven hundred pieces of silver which were stolen 5  from you, about which I heard you pronounce a curse? Look here, I have the silver. I stole 6  it, but now I am giving it back to you.” 7  His mother said, “May the Lord reward 8  you, my son!”

Hakim-hakim 18:14

Konteks
18:14 The five men who had gone to spy out the land of Laish 9  said to their kinsmen, 10  “Do you realize that inside these houses are an ephod, some personal idols, a carved image, and a metal image? Decide now what you want to do.”

[6:37]  1 tn Heb “all the ground.”

[6:37]  2 tn Or “know.”

[6:37]  3 tn Heb “you will deliver Israel by my hand.”

[17:2]  4 tn The words “You know” are supplied in the translation for clarification.

[17:2]  5 tn Heb “taken.”

[17:2]  6 tn Heb “took.”

[17:2]  7 tn In the Hebrew text the statement, “but now I am giving it back to you,” appears at the end of v. 3 and is spoken by the mother. But v. 4 indicates that she did not give the money back to her son. Unless the statement is spoken by the woman to the LORD, it appears to be misplaced and fits much better in v. 2. It may have been accidentally omitted from a manuscript, written in the margin, and then later inserted in the wrong place in another manuscript.

[17:2]  8 tn Traditionally, “bless.”

[18:14]  9 tc Codex Alexandrinus (A) of the LXX lacks the phrase “of Laish.”

[18:14]  10 tn Heb “brothers.”
