Hakim-hakim 1:35

1:35 The Amorites managed ¹  to remain in Har Heres, ²  Aijalon, and Shaalbim. Whenever the tribe of Joseph was strong militarily, ³  the Amorites were forced to do hard labor.

Hakim-hakim 2:2

2:2 but you must not make an agreement with the people who live in this land. You should tear down the altars where they worship.’ ⁴  But you have disobeyed me. ⁵  Why would you do such a thing? ⁶

11:34 When Jephthah came home to Mizpah, there was his daughter hurrying out ⁸  to meet him, dancing to the rhythm of tambourines. ⁹  She was his only child; except for her he had no son or daughter.
