Kejadian 1:31

1:31 God saw all that he had made – and it was very good! ¹  There was evening, and there was morning, the sixth day.

Lukas 23:41

23:41 And we rightly so, for we are getting what we deserve for what we did, but this man has done nothing ²  wrong.”

[1:31]  ¹ tn The Hebrew text again uses הִנֵּה (hinneh) for the sake of vividness. It is a particle that goes with the gesture of pointing, calling attention to something.

[23:41]  ² sn This man has done nothing wrong is yet another declaration that Jesus was innocent of any crime.
