Daniel 9:9

9:9 Yet the Lord our God is compassionate and forgiving, ¹  even though we have rebelled against him.

Daniel 10:18

10:18 Then the one who appeared to be a human being touched me again ²  and strengthened me.

[9:9]  ¹ tn Heb “to the Lord our God (belong) compassion and forgiveness.”

[10:18]  ² tn Heb “He added and touched me.” The construction is a verbal hendiadys.
