Daniel 2:8

2:8 The king replied, “I know for sure that you are attempting to gain time, because you see that my decision is firm.

Daniel 2:14

2:14 Then Daniel spoke with prudent counsel ¹  to Arioch, who was in charge of the king’s executioners and who had gone out to execute the wise men of Babylon.

Daniel 2:18

2:18 He asked them to pray for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery so that he ²  and his friends would not be destroyed along with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

Daniel 3:3

3:3 So the satraps, prefects, governors, counselors, treasurers, judges, magistrates, and all the other provincial authorities assembled for the dedication of the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had erected. They were standing in front of the statue that Nebuchadnezzar had erected. ³

Daniel 7:10

7:10 A river of fire was streaming forth

and proceeding from his presence.

Many thousands were ministering to him;

Many tens of thousands stood ready to serve him. ⁷

and the books were opened.

9:14 The LORD was mindful of the calamity, and he brought it on us. For the LORD our God is just ⁹  in all he has done, ¹⁰  and we have not obeyed him. ¹¹
