Daniel 7:14
Konteks7:14 To him was given ruling authority, honor, and sovereignty.
All peoples, nations, and language groups were serving 1 him.
His authority is eternal and will not pass away. 2
His kingdom will not be destroyed. 3
Lukas 1:33
Konteks1:33 He 4 will reign over the house of Jacob 5 forever, and his kingdom will never end.”
Lukas 11:15
Konteks11:15 But some of them said, “By the power of Beelzebul, 6 the ruler 7 of demons, he casts out demons.”

[7:14] 1 tn Some take “serving” here in the sense of “worshiping.”
[7:14] 2 tn Aram “is an eternal authority which will not pass away.”
[7:14] 3 tn Aram “is one which will not be destroyed.”
[1:33] 4 tn Grk “And he.” Here καί (kai) has not been translated because of differences between Greek and English style. A new sentence is begun here in the translation because of the length of the sentence in Greek.
[1:33] sn The expression house of Jacob refers to Israel. This points to the Messiah’s relationship to the people of Israel.
[11:15] 6 tn Grk “By Beelzebul.”
[11:15] sn Beelzebul is another name for Satan. So some people recognized Jesus’ work as supernatural, but called it diabolical.
