Daniel 2:44

2:44 In the days of those kings the God of heaven will raise up an everlasting kingdom that will not be destroyed and a kingdom that will not be left to another people. It will break in pieces and bring about the demise of all these kingdoms. But it will stand forever.

Daniel 7:14

7:14 To him was given ruling authority, honor, and sovereignty.

All peoples, nations, and language groups were serving ¹  him.

His authority is eternal and will not pass away. ² 

His kingdom will not be destroyed. ³ 

Lukas 1:33

1:33 He ⁴  will reign over the house of Jacob ⁵  forever, and his kingdom will never end.”

Lukas 11:15

11:15 But some of them said, “By the power of Beelzebul, ⁶  the ruler ⁷  of demons, he casts out demons.”

[7:14]  ² tn Aram “is an eternal authority which will not pass away.”

[1:33]  ⁴ tn Grk “And he.” Here καί (kai) has not been translated because of differences between Greek and English style. A new sentence is begun here in the translation because of the length of the sentence in Greek.

[1:33]  ⁵ tn Or “over Israel.”

[1:33]  sn The expression house of Jacob refers to Israel. This points to the Messiah’s relationship to the people of Israel.

[11:15]  ⁶ tn Grk “By Beelzebul.”

[11:15]  sn Beelzebul is another name for Satan. So some people recognized Jesus’ work as supernatural, but called it diabolical.

[11:15]  ⁷ tn Or “prince.”
