2 Tawarikh 7:15-16

7:15 Now I will be attentive and responsive to the prayers offered in this place. ¹  7:16 Now I have chosen and consecrated this temple by making it my permanent home; ²  I will be constantly present there. ³ 

[7:15]  ¹ tn Heb “my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer of this place.” Note Solomon’s request in 6:40.

[7:16]  ² tn Heb “for my name to be there perpetually [or perhaps, “forever”].”

[7:16]  ³ tn Heb “and my eyes and my heart will be there all the days.”
