The Lord Gives Solomon a Promise and a Warning

7:11 After Solomon finished building the Lord’s temple and the royal palace, and accomplished all his plans for the Lord’s temple and his royal palace, ¹ 

2 Tawarikh 13:10

13:10 But as for us, the Lord is our God and we have not rejected him. Aaron’s descendants serve as the Lord’s priests and the Levites assist them with the work. ² 

2 Tawarikh 25:14

25:14 When Amaziah returned from defeating the Edomites, he brought back the gods of the people ³  of Seir and made them his personal gods. ⁴  He bowed down before them and offered them sacrifices.

[13:10]  ² tn Heb “and priests serving the Lord [are] the sons of Aaron and the Levites in the work.”
