2 Tawarikh 36:14

36:14 All the leaders of the priests and people became more unfaithful and committed the same horrible sins practiced by the nations. ¹  They defiled the Lord’s temple which he had consecrated in Jerusalem.

Yehezkiel 8:6

8:6 He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing – the great abominations that the people ²  of Israel are practicing here, to drive me far from my sanctuary? But you will see greater abominations than these!”
